British envoy dies of heart attack at Lagos airport

The Deputy British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr. Peter Leslie Carter has reportedly died of heart attack at the Muritala Muhammad International Airport in Lagos.

Carter was reported to have fallen and slumped while arriving Nigeria aboard a Delta Airlines from Atlanta Georgia.

His sudden death temporarily caused uproar at the airport as many feared that he may have died of the deadly Ebola Virus Disease currently ravaging the country.

He was later confirmed to have died of heart attack and his remains taken to an undisclosed hospital where he was officially declared dead.
