Church G.O 65-Year-Old Rev Lord Ojeee, Pays Criminals N2m to Kidnap And Murder Local Govt Chairman

All might not be smooth for members of Kingdom of God Conscious Movement International Church, as their General Overseer, 65-year-old Rev Lord Ojeee also known as Nduwusi Kanu is now cooling off in police cell after being fingered as the mastermind of the kidnap and murder of the former Chairman of Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State, Hon. Godwin Igbo who was 70-year-old at the time of the incident.

The cleric was said to have hired a gang of kidnappers for a fee of N2m, out of which he made an initial deposit of N50,000 for the abduction of Igbo over an alleged land dispute and chieftaincy title of Eze Agu Nechenba 1 of Ikpoeze 1 of Arondizuogu community in Imo State.

The operation, which went awry, led to the death of the former council boss who was thereafter buried in a shallow grave in a thick forest at Lokpanta, Abia State by his abductors.

Police investigations into the matter, however, led to the arrest of two of the kidnappers, one of them, a nephew to Rev Lord Ojee, 22-year-old Adindu Chukwu a.k.a. Alhaji and a 27-year-old Udoh Amaechi Oko who both collected N500,000 as ransom from the family of the deceased even after he was murdered.

The Enugu State Commissioner of Police, Mr Mohammed Adamu told Saturday Sun that the former council chief was on a transit to Enugu State on April 10, 2014 when he was kidnapped, murdered and buried in a shallow grave in a thick forest at Lokpanta, Abia State.

CP Adamu said he received a petition by the family of the deceased in May over the kidnap. The police boss subsequently transferred the case to the Anti-Kidnappers Squad to investigate. It was learnt that in the course of investigations by the Alex Akinlalu-led team, detectives had an encounter with two suspected kidnappers, one of them identified as ‘Black’, a cult member of Vicking Confraternity who received gunshot injuries and later died. But before he died, the police were able to recover two phones of the late Godwin Igbo from him.

‘Black’ was also said to have confessed before he died that he was part of the gang that killed the late Igbo and buried him in an Abia forest. On October 15, the Anti-Kidnappers Squad arrested Udoh Ameachi Oko at Okigwe in Imo State and this also led to the arrest of Adindu Chukwu a.k.a. Alhaji at Garikki in Okigwe, Imo State. Chukwu was said to have confessed that it was Lord Ojee, who sent them to kidnap the late Godwin Igbo with a promise to give them N2m, out of which he gave them N50,000 “for drinks and welfare.”

This in turn led to the arrest of the General Overseer of God Conscious Movement International, Rev Lord Ojee at Uratta road junction, Aba/Port Harcourt road, Aba. All the suspects, the police boss confirmed, are now at the Anti-Kidnapers Squad’s custody where they have allegedly confessed to the crime.

In his confession, one of the suspects, Chukwu a.k.a. Alhaji said: “Rev Lord Ojee is my uncle. He is the younger brother to my mother. Rev Lord Ojee came to the village, Umulolo Okigwe every month and he has a misunderstanding with the late Godwin Igbo over 10 years ago over land dispute and the chieftaincy title of “Eze Agu Nechenba 1 of Ikpo Eze 1 of Arondizuogu community. My uncle, Rev Lord Ojee approached me and wanted me to organise some boys to kidnap the late Godwin Igbo to show him that he has power.

“I have to meet ‘Black’, one of the leaders of kidnappers who is now late and he organised five members for the job and that include myself. My uncle promised to settle us with N2 million if the job was accomplished and he gave me N50,000 for drinks and welfare which we used to enjoy ourselves before we carried out the operation” , he said. Chukwu further confessed: “We went to the late Godwin Igbo to kidnap him in his village at Ekpa Eze in Aro Ndinuzo –Ogu in Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State around 8.00pm on April 10, 2014. We took him away and we kept the victim inside a Toyota car and put him in the boot of the car. He fainted and in the process he died.

“We took the corpse of the late Igbo into a thick forest and buried him in a shallow grave on April 10, 2014. We collected the deceased’s two phones and called his family members and demanded N2 million ransom. The family members didn’t know that Igbo was dead. They paid N500,000 to us and two days later, I went to meet my uncle, Rev Lord Ojee and explained to him that Godwin Igbo was kidnapped and was dead. The intention of my uncle was not to kill Igbo but to kidnap him and keep him away but unfortunately he died.

“I came to meet my uncle, to collect the N2 million that he promised us. My uncle insisted that since we have collected N500, 000 from the deceased’s family that that should be okay for us. My uncle gave me N5,000 for transport.”

Speaking further, Chukwu said: “My uncle, Ojee quickly called the elders in the village to Genesis Hotel, Okigwe to hear from the elders whether they will mention his name or suspected whether he is the one who killed Godwin Igbo. I have serious quarrel with my uncle for refusing to pay the N2 million he promised us. I was given N60,000 as a share of the money we collected from the deceased’s family.”

Another suspect, Udoh Amaechi Oko, who hails from Afikpo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, explained: “It was Chukwu who contacted our gang leader, ‘Black’ who is now late, that we should kidnap Godwin Igbo over a land and chieftaincy dispute with his uncle, Rev Lord Ojee. We kidnapped the deceased and kept him in the boot of the car. Later, he died”.

“We called the deceased’s family and demanded N2 million and they paid N500,000 and I was given a share of N80,000”, he said .

In his reaction, Rev Lord Ojee told Saturday Sun: “I have been in ministry for almost 50 years. It is true I had a misunderstanding with the deceased, Godwin Igbo for over 10 years. I know the suspect, Adindu Chukwu, he is my elder sister’s son. I heard that Igbo died when they kidnapped him”, he said.

CP Adamu, however, stated that the suspects would soon be charged to court, saying the police had already gone to the scene of the crime to exhume the corpse of Godwin Igbo.

Jihadists kill 28 Christians on Kenyan bus after asking passengers to prove they're muslims

28 Christians were killed yesterday morning Nov. 22nd after Islamic Shebab extremists ambushed a bus in Kenya as it headed for Nairobi from Mandera, a town close to Somalia.

According to reports, the heavily armed extremists separated the Muslims from the Christians by asking them to recite verses from the Qu'ran. Then they ordered the Muslims to get off the bus and then shot the Christians point blank in the head before escaping back to Somalia.

A Spokesman for Shebab later said the 28 travelers were killed in retaliation for a raid on mosques in  Mombasa, Kenya last week.

Pregnant woman & her partner caught having sex in hospital bed while waiting to have their baby induced

A heavily pregnant woman and her partner were caught having sex in a hospital bed in the UK while waiting to have their baby induced, Daily Mailreports

The mother and father were discovered by a cleaner who heard moaning coming from a private room on the maternity ward.

The worker told hospital bosses what she had found but was informed there are no rules against having sex on the ward at St Michael's Hospital, in Bristol. (picture above)

The hospital's policy is for frisky couples to put a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door, The Sun reported.

A hospital source said: 'Other patients on the unit heard the commotion and were upset. The cleaner was utterly shocked. She was amazed to be told it was OK. The hospital's advice appears to be just to put a sign up - amazing.'

Like herbal remedies and eating spicy food, sex is said to help induce labour in some cases.

However, NHS advice says: 'You may have heard that certain things can trigger labour, such as herbal supplements and having sex, but there is no evidence that these work.

'Having sex won't cause harm, but you should avoid having sex if your waters have broken as there is an increased risk of infection.'

13-YR-OLD GIRL’S HORROR: ‘My Stepfather Serially Raped And Impregnated Me When My Mother Travelled to Makurdi!’

Parents and adults generally have responsibility to care for, educate, and discipline children but when the children begin to detest the parents, then the situation calls for concern. 13 -year-old Blessing Chia allegedly fell victim to regular beating by his step father, Mr Benjamin Richard, 35, who, as she claimed, later lusted after her.

The allegation by the girl that the step father serially raped her to the point of her getting pregnant is a subject of police investigations. Blessing toldSunday Vanguard,

“The first time my mother was not around, he took cane and was beating me and told me that if I messed up, he would kill me, that if I shouted or if my mummy heard anything about it, he was going to kill me. So the one that happened on Thursday, November 13, 2014,   I told him that I would tell my mummy and I dared to see if he would kill me. So l told my mummy.

Blessing’s mother, Mrs Grace Richard, 30, said her daughter reported to her that the stepfather raped her but her husband denied it when she confronted him.He raped me four times, the first time was when my mother travelled to Makurdi, Benue State.’’ She confirmed that it was during the period she traveled to her home state (Benue) and left her daughter in the care of her stepfather that he first allegedly raped her.

‘’That was two months ago when I travelled to Makurdi and she told me immediately I came back,” the mother said. My husband denied and even threatened to beat me black and blue if l ever asked him such a question again”.

Grace said she was not, in the real sense of it, married to the father of Blessing whom she had at the age of 17 before the father died in a motor accident last year. Blessing’s mother said she and her current husband have been together for four years during which she had a boy child for him. The boy, she said, lives with her mother-in-law. Mrs Martina Moses, Grace’s elder sister, told Blessing’s story to Sunday Vanguard.

‘’I was in Gwagalape on Thursday when my sister called me around 5pm to help settle an issue Blessing had with a neighbour over SIM card. While in their house, I saw my sister’s husband and I asked him where my sister was. He said my sister was on her way to home, that he sent her to collect money from a friend. I then asked after my niece, Blessing. Richard got angry and said the girl was very stubborn, that he was going to tie her up in a room before dropping me off . He said if he didn’t tie the girl up, she would run away. He tied the girl’s hands and feet in my presence. I pleaded on my niece’s behalf with his stepfather to no avail.

‘’Later that night, my sister came to my house around 11pm and I asked her what she was doing outside that late. She told me that her husband was threatening her. Grace was afraid to go back home because she was sure Richard would beat her up. That prompted her to go to her elder sister, Martina’s house, so that Martina could follow her back home in order to stop Richard carrying out his threat of beating her. And because it was late in the night, Grace was forced to pass the night at the elder sister’s place.

‘’The following day, being Friday, Martina sent somebody to Richard’s place to bring Blessing. But rather releasing Blessing to the man Martina sent, Richard took the girl on his motorcycle to Martina’s house himself. On getting to Martina’s house, Blessing ran into her aunty’s arms, and wept profusely after which she claimed that her mother’s husband raped her four times. After listening to Blessing, Martina said she took the girl to Richard and asked her to repeat what she told her inside in the presence of the stepfather and Blessing repeated everything.

“Right there, l told my sister and her husband that the rape issue will not be swept under the carpet. l asked my brother to go and report the issue at a police station, but my brother advised that we first report the matter to Richard’s mother. It was then that Richard’s mother said we should take Blessing for test, and that took us to Aso police station where we were referred to Nyanya police station since the alleged rape took place in Nyanya. When we got to Nyanya police station, the police interrogated the stepfather and he denied yet again. It was at that point the police locked him up.

‘’The police told Richard that the only thing that could save him was if the result of the test indicated that Blessing was still a virgin, but the test showed that Blessing had not only been deflowered but also pregnant. Meanwhile, the police that had the hospital report with them did not disclose the number of weeks Blessing has been pregnant. We went back to the police station the following day after Richard was detained, only to be told that his father had bailed him. On getting back to Richard’s house after he was bailed, he tried to convince his neighbours to accept that Blessing was wayward, but his neighbours refused to play along with him. Rather they claimed they heard Blessing screaming on that Thursday but did know the reason.’’

The investigating police officer, IPO, in charge of the case, who did not want her name mentioned, told Sunday Vanguard that Blessing was indeed pregnant but that investigations were in progress. At press time, Richard had been re-arrested by the police.

Brother of Ex Nigerian Stock Exchange NSE boss Charged For Allegedly Raping UNILAG Student

November 6, 2014 was like every other day for 300 level student of Computer Science (names withheld) at the University of Lagos, Akoka Yaba. As the ailing student who managed to attend lectures stepped into her apartment located at Moremi hall, never in her wildest imagination did she envisage she would end up being a victim of rape.

However, the signal of an imminent emotional and psychological trauma reared up after one Daniel Okereke, a man that had reportedly being wooing her since last month, came visiting. Without any inkling of an apparent sinister motive, the undergraduate was said to have reluctantly left to attend to her visitor, who upon seeing her condition, opted to take her to a pharmaceutical store around Akoka to get some drugs.

Not yet done with his show of concern, the visitor reportedly took the female student to an eatery, so that she could eat before taking the drugs. Thereafter, he reportedly took her to his abode at Mende, Mariland where he allegedly ended up raping her. Narrating her ordeal to the police, the student who had marks of strings on her back, hands and legs , narrated how she narrowly escaped being murdered by Okereke, in her bid to free herself from his grips. According to her:

“ When he came visiting, I never knew he had something sinister in his mind until we got to his place. At the eatery, he ordered that the food be made take-away and asked me to go eat it in his place and at the same time rest before taking me back to the hostel. Immediately we entered the room, he secured the door and I had supper and later asked to be taken back . But he said he must have sex with me. I tried to appeal to him to consider my state of health and take me back to campus.

Before I knew what was happening, he started beating me, forcing to have his way. As if that was not enough, he called in seven guards in the compound who assisted him and tied me down. He thereafter, went into his kitchen and brought out a knife, threatening to kill me if I resisted. He took me to one of the rooms where he brought out a condom and raped me.

Crime Guard gathered that when the 23 year-old lady was untied, she went violent and started shattering every property she could lay her hands on. In the process, one of the objects she allegedly threw out of the window, landed on a vehicle belonging to one of the tenants, smashing its windscreen. That attracted neighbours.

The case was reported at Area ‘F’ Ikeja , following which Okereke was arrested . During interrogation, he reportedly claimed to be nephew of a former Director -General of the Nigerian Stock Exchange NSE and cousin to a front-line Nollywood actress who ironically has a foundation which promotes the well being of women. He was said to have been released on bail, an action the victim frowned out. The case was thereafter transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID Panti, where the 36-year-old Okereke was rearrested.

He reportedly claimed that the victim destroyed his property , an action that was engendered by the violence meted to her. Okereke was charged to court Thursday. Equally charged was Idris Abubakar, the security guard who allegedly assisted Okereke to tie up the victim. He is an alleged accomplice.

Our ONOZURE DANIA who was in the court put her report this way: Lagos- Two men Daniel Okereke 32 and Idris Abubakar 37 were yesterday arraigned before a Yaba Chief Magistrate’s Court, over alleged assault and rape and threat to life.

The defendants who are businessman and a security Guard respectively were docked before Magistrate Y. O Aje-Afunwa. They are facing a five count charge bordering on conspiracy, assault, rape and threat to life preferred against them by the police. The police prosecutor Superintendent Godwin Anyanwu, told the court that the defendants committed the alleged offence on November 6, 2014. He said that the incident took place at Mende, Maryland in ikeja area of Lagos state between 2:30-11pm.

He said that the first defendant allegedly raped and assaulted one lady (names withheld). Anyanwu also claimed that the defendant unlawfully had canal knowledge of the victim without her consent, adding that he beat her up with a brown belt and also threatened her with a knife. According to the prosecutor, the offences committed, contravened sections 409, 171, 261 and punishable under section 56 and 258 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

Earlier, the defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges against them. The defendants counsel, R. Amokea, urged the court to grant the defendants bail in the most liberal term, as the offence committed, was a bailable offence and that they were still presumed innocent until proven guilty. The prosecutor Anyanwu objected to the bail application, on the grounds that the charges levelled against the defendants were charges of rape, sexual assault and occasional harm.

However, Magistrate Aje-Afunwa, granted the first defendant bail in the sum of N200,000, with one responsible surety in like sum, while the second defendant was admitted  bail in the sum of N50,000, with one surety in like sum. She also said that the surety must either be a relative, a cleric or a community leader.

The matter was adjourned till January 9, 2015, for trial.

75-Year-Old Man Impregnates 13-Year-Old Girl, Says ‘Its An Act Of God, I Only Slept With Her Twice & Gave Her N1,700, But Am Willing To Marry Her’

THE Yoruba proverb which says that one does not need a complete set of teeth to break a hard bone, once the few ones present in the mouth can do the job, aptly describes Pa Muse Alabi both literally and metaphorically. Most of the teeth of the 75-year-old man are missing. This has made the front and the two sides of the laughter chamber to cave in. But Pa Alabi is still going strong in meat consumption – both animal and human.

He is not a cannibal as some readers must have quickly assumed. He is simply a lady’s man and goes for young or old, single or married. However, he has bitten more than he could chew as he is currently at the State Criminal Investigation Department of the Oyo State Police Command, where the anti-social behaviour unit is investigating a case of defilement of a 13-year-old girl (name withheld) allegedly committed by the old man, and which has resulted in pregnancy.

Crime Reports learnt that Pa Alabi was doing carpentry work for a lady under whom the victim was an apprentice. The young girl seized the opportunity to tell Pa Alabi to build a safe for her. After giving her the safe, Pa Alabi wooed the girl and she agreed to his proposal. After the first sexual intercourse they had, it was learnt that the suspect gave the girl N200. When she also demanded for a handset, he gave her N1,500 to buy i-tel phone.

Four days after, they made love again. Both times were in September this year. But the grandmother of the girl was said to have noticed recently that she was showing signs of pregnancy. Though she denied, she secretly went to her lover to inform him. To her surprise, Pa Alabi demanded to know how she could be pregnant since he only had sex with her twice.

The girl decided to keep to herself and would not talk to Pa Alabi whenever he went to her mistress’s shop. This was said to have prompted the man to inform the mistress that her apprentice was pregnant for him, warning against the abortion of his unborn child. Shocked, the mistress informed the girl’s grandmother who, in turn, told the girl’s mother. Eventually, word got to the girl’s elder sister who went to a police station on Saturday, November 15 to lodge a complaint and Pa Alabi was promptly arrested.

A police source informed Crime Reports that the suspect’s neighbours said it was in the old man’s character to go after under-aged girls. The ultrasound scan carried out revealed the expected delivery date of the girl as July 7, 2015 meaning she is two months pregnant. Strangely, the girl was reported to have never menstruated before the pregnancy.

In an interview with Crime Reports, Pa Alabi admitted having sex with the girl and the paternity of the baby. He also agreed to marry her and take care of her and the baby when born. According to the man who lives at his family house at Oje area, “I am a carpenter and I still work till the present time. I even take roofing jobs. I am very strong.

“I have two daughters and a son. My first wife gave birth to the female children but had to be taken away by her people when she developed mental illness. My second wife is the mother of the boy who is an SSS3 student but she has left for another man. Currently, I have no wife.”

So how does he satisfy his sexual needs when it looks as if he is very active? Crime Reports asked. Pa Alabi replied:

“I don’t go looking for any woman. I usually have sex with any of the married women who like me and come to me for sex. This is not always though.”

Speaking on how he came in contact with his victim, the elderly man said:

“I used to do carpentry work for her boss who sells tailoring materials. That was where I knew her. One day, she asked me to help her build a safe in which she could be keeping her money. When I finished it, I asked her to come to my shop for the safe late one evening and I gave it to her.

“She used to pass by my shop whenever she was going home and used to stop by to greet me. On a particular day, I expressed my interest in her and she promised to think about it. She later consented and on one of the days she stopped to say hello to me, we had sex when I had an urge. And it was mutual. About five days after the first time, we had sex again and she stopped coming.

“One day, she came to me and told me that her grandmother said she was pregnant. She stopped coming again and I didn’t see her again until policemen came to arrest me.”

When asked whether he knew that his action was in contravention of the law, Pa Muse replied that he didn’t know, describing the outcome of his relationship with the young girl as

“an act of God”. He said: “Mistake has no master. I pray that God should forgive me.”

The suspect said he doesn’t use any sex performance enhancement drug before making love to a female.

“I don’t take any herbal drink for enhancement of sexual performance. They are alcoholic and I don’t take alcohol as a good Muslim. I observe my five-times-daily prayers faithfully.”

Pa Alabi said he was ready to take responsibility over the pregnant girl and the baby she is expecting.

“I can take care of her adequately. I have a nephew who is a medical doctor and he has promised to help too,” he stated.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Olabisi Okuwobi-Ilobanafor however said that the suspect would be charged to court.

A man of the United Kingdom, who wanted to bring his daughter to the country from Nigeria, decided to marry her to get her a visa. 54-year-old Jelili Adesanya lived in the country for over 30 years and holds a British passport. Now, he is trying to bring over his daughter along with her husband and four children. Adesanya staged a wedding ceremony, and took photos of him and his daughter as a happy couple RadarOnline reports.

The photos convinced immigration officials that his daughter, 30-year-old Karimotu Adenike, was actually his wife. Adenike was granted permission to live in the United Kingdom. The woman is now waiting for a permanent right to remain in the country before undergoing a legal divorce. She will then marry her husband and try to bring the rest of her family over to the country.

Adesanya was employed as an occupational health nurse for the Interior Ministry, in collaboration with immigration officials at Gatwick airport. An anonymous letter was sent to the Office of the High Commissioner in Lagos, Nigeria, and the U.K. Border Agency, tipping them off about the fraud. After not receiving a response, the tipster sent emails to the Home Secretary. So far, nothing has been done to stop the couple. Adesanya lives with his daughter in Dagenham, Essex.

Robbers Attack Bullion Van,Cart Away Millions of Naira

Armed robbers attacked a  bullion van at Elemoso village along Ondo-Akure Road in the Ondo East Local Government Area of the state. The robbers were said to have looted the bullion van and escaped with undisclosed amount of money.

The bullion van and the escort vehicle were found ridden with bullets in the incident which was said to have occurred at about 4.50pm on thursday , while the robbers made away with the cash supposedly belonging to United Bank for Africa.

An eyewitness told Punch Metro that policemen that escorted the bullion van were caught unawares after the armed robbers rained bullets on the police escort vehicle and the bullion van simultaneously.
He said,

“The policemen and the driver of the van took to their heels immediately the hoodlums opened fire on them. The operation lasted for just about seven minutes.
The speed breaker erected on the highway helped the armed men. They overtook the vans and opened fire on the policemen before they could realise what was going on. The men were better equipped because they operated with confidence.”

However a middle-aged man, simply identified as Pastor Ajah, who was coming from Ondo town ran into the rain of bullets and sustained bullet wounds. He was said to have been taken to a general hospital.

120 Lawmaker have signed Notice for Jonathan’s Impeachment

We are moving into a heated phase in the slow but surely movement to 2015. So far, more than 120 of the lawmakers have appended their signatures for the impeachment of President Goodluck Jonathan as soon as the House reconvenes in December.

Mohammed Zakari, chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, while reacting on it said “the notice of impeachment was not on the order paper today but I’m not foreclosing that some other things took place.”

Similar agitation by aggrieved lawmakers to move for impeachment of Emeka Ihedioha, deputy Speaker during the brief closed door session, was however averted by the Speaker who called for calmness.

On his part, Leo Ogor, deputy House Leader who urged members to jettison such plans, argued that the notice of impeachment is inconsequential, as the President had no hand in what transpired at the National Assembly.

“The President is unaware so bringing it (impeachment) up is going to be defeated. The President has done no wrong, impeachment should not even be part of the issue,” he pleaded.
